Please read these guidelines
before submitting your abstract:
Abstract Submission Guidelines
Submission Deadline: Monday, October
3rd, 2011, Midnight EST
- At least one author must be an SUR, SGR, ESUR or ESGAR member. There is
one exception to this rule. For SGR abstract submissions, non-members can
submit abstracts with a recommendation from a Society member. This recommendation
must be stated in a letter, which is sent at the same time that the abstract
is submitted online. This letter can be emailed to arc@meetingmanagers.com.
Please also note that priority will be given to work that has not been presented
at a prior meeting. Papers or posters previously presented or published
are not eligible for SGR paper or poster awards.
- Abstracts for papers and posters should be limited to 200 words and divided
into four paragraphs with the following headings:
• Purpose
• Materials and Methods
• Results (including statistical significance when needed)
• Conclusions (including clinical relevance)
- NEW! All posters must be
in electronic format. Please carefully review the poster guidelines prior
to submitting your abstract to ensure that you can meet the requirements.
Electronic Posters will be available for viewing Sunday, March 25 –
Friday, March 30. Note that all electronic posters
will be posted on the meeting website. By submitting your abstract, you
are confirming your consent to allow the SGR and SUR to post your electronic
exhibit online in PDF format. Click
here to view the Electronic Poster Guidelines
- Hard copy submission will not be accepted. Click the link below to submit
your abstract online. You will receive an e-confirmation letter once your
abstract has been submitted. You may revisit the site as many times as needed
to revise information and add additional submissions prior to the deadline.
- Presenting Authors will be notified via email by November 18, 2011, of
the selections made for the program. Selected abstracts will also be posted
on the SGR and SUR websites by this date as well. Please note that only
the Presenting Author will receive official correspondence concerning the
abstract.
- Papers accepted for presentation will have a strict time limit of 7 minutes
for presentation and 3 minutes for discussion.

of your abstract, or any of the terms or designations on the following forms,
