Please read these guidelines
before submitting your abstract:
Abstract Submission Guidelines
Submission Deadline: Wednesday, September
29th, 2010, Midnight EST
- At least one author must be an SUR, SGR, ESUR or ESGAR member. There is
one exception to this rule. For SGR abstract submissions, non-members can
submit abstracts with a recommendation from a Society member. This recommendation
must be stated in a letter, which is sent at the same time that the abstract
is submitted online. This letter can be emailed to arc@meetingmanagers.com.
Please also note that priority will be given to work that has not been presented
at a prior meeting. Papers or posters previously presented or published
are not eligible for SGR paper or poster awards.
- Abstracts for papers and posters should be limited to 200 words and divided
into four paragraphs with the following headings:
• Purpose
• Materials and Methods
• Results (including statistical significance when needed)
• Conclusions (including clinical relevance)
- Posters will be displayed on one 4' high x 8' wide panel
and must not exceed these dimensions. There will be no back-lit illumination.
Posters must be hung by either Velcro or push pins. Presenters are responsible
for transporting, hanging, and removing the poster. For optimal viewing,
you may prefer to produce your poster with non-glossy paper. Authors should
plan to display posters by Saturday, March 19th between 12:00 p.m. - 6:00
p.m. To be considered for awards, posters must be available for viewing
on Sunday, March 20th at 7:00 a.m. Posters must be dismantled between 12
noon and 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 25th. Posters may not be removed prior
to this time.
- Hard copy submission will not be accepted. Click the link below to submit
your abstract online. You will receive an e-confirmation letter once your
abstract has been submitted. You may revisit the site as many times as needed
to revise information and add additional submissions prior to the deadline.
- Presenting Authors will be notified via email by November 19, 2010, of
the selections made for the program. Selected abstracts will also be posted
on the SGR and SUR websites by this date as well. Please note that only
the Presenting Author will receive official correspondence concerning the
abstract.
- Papers accepted for presentation will have a strict time limit of 7 minutes
for presentation and 3 minutes for discussion.
- If you have any questions or concerns regarding the scientific content
of your abstract, or any of the terms or designations on the following forms,
please contact the management office at arc@meetingmanagers.com.
