Abstract Submission Guidelines

Thank you for considering speaking at ILCA's 2009 Conference!

Every year, ILCA members and others in the lactation community have the opportunity to share their insights and research with colleagues through concurrent sessions. The annual conference enables ILCA's Conference Program Committee to recognize those whose expertise and presentation skills qualify them for this honor. ILCA appreciates these contributions toward ensuring a successful program. Please review the submission guidelines before you submit your proposal.

Abstracts will be accepted for the following presentation formats:

• Proposal for a concurrent conference session presentation
• Abstract for a research presentation and/or poster
• Abstract for a project poster

Submissions for Presenting at the Orlando, USA Conference

The Speaker Submission site for concurrent sessions will close on November 24, 2008, at which time the Conference Program Committee will begin their blind review of proposals. Submitters will receive notification via email by December 15, 2008 as to whether their work has been selected for presentation. Selected speakers must confirm participation by December 31, 2008. If you have not received email notification by December 16, 2008, please contact Natalie Porterfield at natalieporterfield@ilca.org. 

Abstracts for research presentation and/or poster and project posters will be accepted through December 1, 2008. At this time the Research Committee with begin their blind review of abstracts. Notification will be sent by the Research Committee in early January 2009. Selected presenters must confirm by February 1, 2009.
